#DeadEndTours: Yardley’s Cross
The hamlet of Yardley’s Cross was abandoned back in the middle of the 1970s. In one night, all the residents disappeared: never to be seen again.
This evening, the #DeadEndTours team are leading a group of urban explorers around the hamlet, as they attempt to explain what happened. There will be tales of violence, stories of psychopaths and rumours of vampires. And neither Billy nor Tina will be properly prepared for the truth that they do uncover.
Robin’s Review
Trigger Warnings: Blood baths, vampire groupies, Billy being Billy, references to sexy rockstars who are very much undead, and lines so British they deserve their own tea.
What Did I Just Walk Into?
An urban exploration tour with ghosts, ghouls, and a vampire rock god with boundary issues? Yeah, count me in.
Here’s What Slapped:
🧛♂️ Finally, a vampire story that doesn’t sparkle—this is old-school, Hammer horror-style, bat-wing flapping, fang-baring mayhem.
💃 The back-and-forth timeline from 1974 to present was smoother than Billy’s latest half-baked scam pitch.
🔥 Tina continues to be the real MVP of this series, somehow surviving every monster-of-the-week tour while dragging Billy’s ego behind her.
🧠 The twist? Oh, it twists—like a stake through your expectations.
🎸 The vampire’s a glam rock icon with a cult following, a thirst for blood, and just enough sleaze to make your skin crawl. And yes, his tour is lovingly dubbed “The Pervert Tour.” Tina’s words, not mine.
😂 “Nutty as squirrel shit” deserves to be on a T-shirt. And maybe a warning label.
What Could’ve Been Better (But I’m Not Complaining):
Billy still somehow refuses to believe in vampires… after the werewolves, witches, and full-on alien invasion. At this point, denial is his only consistent personality trait.
