Robins Review of The Sleepy Hollow Incident: Book Three: A Gothic Tale!
Where desire collides with darkness, every secret bleeds, and love is the most dangerous weapon of all.
Winter in Sleepy Hollow grows colder—and deadlier. As Detective Stephen Carver investigates a string of mutilated corpses marked by satanic symbols, his search draws him closer to a hidden truth that could unravel the very soul of the Hollow. The deeper he digs, the more he feels the malignant pull of something ancient, something that feeds on fear and sacrifice.

What Did I Just Walk Into?
Bodies carved with satanic symbols. A house that eats secrets for breakfast. Lovers cursed by demons and destiny. Sleepy Hollow is colder, bloodier, and far beyond redemption this time.
Here’s What Slapped:
Mr. P.D. Alleva is single-handedly redefining gothic horror for the modern age. The atmosphere is pure dread—icy fog, decaying churches, and the kind of whispers that follow you down the hall when you’re alone. Detective Carver is neck-deep in a tangle of corpses and occult clues while Lori tries to drag her soul (and Marc’s) back from the brink of damnation. Every chapter peels back another layer of corruption until you start questioning who’s human and who’s just wearing the skin.
The world-building is cinematic and grotesque in the best way. There are shades of The Witching Hour, The Exorcist, and Hellraiser all wrapped in Mr. P.D. Alleva’s unique brand of lyrical brutality. The pacing doesn’t let up, and every revelation hits like a confession you didn’t want to hear.
What Could’ve Been Better:
The emotional recovery time between shocks? Nonexistent. You’ll finish this one needing a stiff drink and maybe a priest.
Perfect for Readers Who Love:
Gothic horror with teeth
Demons, bloodlines, and morally gray love stories
Detective thrillers tangled with ancient evil
Worlds where every heartbeat sounds like a countdown to hell
