The Chosen Two
This book, the first title in the series “The Real Lives of Adam and Eve”, covers the time from their births up until the time of their banishment from the Garden of Eden. It is divided into two chapters, the first covering all the events from birth until entry into the Garden at the age of 20, and the second covering all the events that happened during the 7 years they lived in the Garden – including, of course, their temptation and fall from grace.
Robin’s Review
What Did I Just Walk Into?
A thoughtful retelling of Adam and Eve’s journey from birth to banishment, told mainly through Eve’s reflections to her son Seth. It blends history, faith, and personal drama into a compact narrative that asks the question: what if this is how it really happened?
Here’s What Worked:
- Gives Eve her own perspective, which is refreshing to see.
- Short and approachable—you can read it in one sitting.
- Mixes theology, spirituality, and personal storytelling in a way that feels accessible.
- Encourages readers to put themselves in Eve’s shoes and reflect.
What Could’ve Been Better:
- The “historical records before writing” claim is a stretch that may raise eyebrows.
- At times it feels more like creative interpretation than true “history.”
- With such a fascinating premise, I wished for a little more depth and detail.
Perfect for Readers Who Love:
- Inspirational retellings of biblical stories.
- Eve-centered narratives.
- Quick reads that spark reflection on faith, philosophy, and choice.
