What Did I Just Walk Into?
The apocalypse, but make it supernatural, louder, and significantly more dangerous than your standard end-of-the-world scenario.

Here’s What Slapped:
I already read these stories separately, but seeing them bundled into one box set is honestly the perfect way to experience them. Reading the books back-to-back really highlights how immersive this series is. The pacing feels relentless in the best possible way, and the world never lets the reader settle into comfort.

Katie continues to be an absolute force of a protagonist. She has grown into a hardened survivor with real emotional depth and serious fighting skills, but she never loses that core instinct to protect others. That balance makes her feel human instead of invincible. Her development across these two books is one of the strongest elements of the series.

The blend of post-apocalyptic survival and supernatural horror works extremely well. Demons, zombies, and human desperation collide in ways that keep the stakes high and unpredictable. The action scenes hit hard, but the emotional consequences land just as strongly. This is one of those series where survival is not just about fighting monsters but about holding onto humanity while everything falls apart.

Another strength is momentum. These books move fast without sacrificing character or tension. The writing keeps you locked in, and the danger always feels immediate. The world itself feels hostile and alive, which makes every small win feel earned.

Reading them together in a box set makes the character arc and world-building feel more cohesive and satisfying. It is the kind of series that keeps getting stronger as it goes.

What Could’ve Been Better:
The only downside is realizing you are going to need the next installment immediately.

Perfect for Readers Who Love:
Supernatural post-apocalyptic stories
Demon horror mixed with survival fiction
Strong female leads
Fast-paced action with emotional stakes
Series that build intensity over time

Sum-Up:
A brutal, fast-moving supernatural apocalypse anchored by a fierce and evolving heroine. The box set format makes this intense survival story even harder to put down.
